We respecfully bring to your attention that on January 17, 2012, Republic of Ireland NPP was accorded branch status by the National Executive Committee of the National Party at a sitting in Accra. By serving this notice, we are humbly notifying your office to take note of this important change and development in order not to create conflict of interest in the minds of the general public regarding NPP UK branch and NPP Republic of Ireland branch, as the case is at the moment. Unknown to many in Ghana, United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland are two entirely different sovereign entities or countries. We hope this explanation suffices.
