I just heard a couple of guys talking at 1030 am.....about airline service "has to change".
The one guy, particularly, has no idea of what goes on with ticket agents.....and on many
airplanes. 1st.....the United debacle......the Dr. that was bloodied up....the whole thing
was mostly his fault. He accepted compensation to give up his ticket for the oversold
flight......they gave his seat to someone else.....then, the Dr. changed his mind and wanted
his seat back. You can't do that......it's against the rules. He then got loud and charged
past the agents---down the jetbridge---and onto the plane again......you can't do that either.
BIG NO NO!! He took his original seat....and the agents called airport security. Now, they
did go overboard getting him off the plane.....but, they tried calmly at first---and he refused.
So, at that point, they had to use force. Again, they should not have bloodied him up---but
that is a Chicago Ohare airport security deal......NOT UAL. The Dr. precipitated the whole
messy ordeal. I have no compassion for him. I work for AA---btw.
As far as agents......I have been at the ticket counters many many times and have seen
lunatics come charging to the counter cursing
