Boy, really will miss you guys when Sept 5 happens. Have enjoyed your station with great tunes, (except BST- worst music never recorded, Lighthouse and Chicago were superior) for over 5 years. You have been a big part of my days, especially in the winter. Sure takes me back to my youth and with a very professional sounding crew. Remember the days when disc jockeys ruled the airwaves? I do. The music takes me back to the sixties when I hosted a radio show back east, great to listen to the music again , brings back fond memories, cheers.

When I am in any of my 4 quasi collector and collector vehicles be it my '66 Pontiac Tempest, '73 2 door Dodge or "74 Olds Cutlass that have only AM radios, W1440 - CKJR is where the dial is set. If you like car show and shines and music when those cars were either new or your first car, this is the station that will bring those happy memories back.

After hearing you bash Calgary again for the thousandth time I've changed our work station ,great music but you are always bad mouthing Calgary , When historic Wetaskewan gets a hockey team them you can compare ,till then we have 2 teams in Alberta enjoy both of them ,
