I very much enjoyed the Book Radio show and the guest David Giddens and hearing about his favourite books that started at 1:30 Pm on Monday, August 18. The show is very informative and upbeat with interesting reviews of four books about athletes and the sports that they play. Antonio Michael is a great interviewer who packs his show with great guests and interesting topics of the books that he discusses.

Although I like Tom Power, he is increasingly insinuating himself into interviews. Today his interview with Robbie Robertson particularly so with, "Let me tell you a bit about myself..." That and his increased name dropping, including today's: "Not to name drop, but my friend Mark..." Tom, like your warm and gregarious personality

Great news music info and no commercials s listen for one hour and plays well sleep then wake up to news and weather

CBC is still proving the best news service I know - at least on radio at 6:00, the the whole As it Happens is good too, some interviews are a tad too , I don't the word -whiny?, but a lot of interviews are great - better than any comerprable service, on balance it comes out as a big thumbs up in my books.
