Classic KABL Radio - San Francisco, CA

I lived in the Bay Area from 1972 to 2002 and for 30 years enjoyed listening to some of the best music ever recorded... of course, it was on KABL! To this day I still listen to KABL (on my computer) as comforting background music while working online. Although I'm now in Florida (Cape Coral), I am still a 49er, Giants, and KABL fan! Please, San Francisco... never shut down KABL with its wonderful music and commentary! Ray Asper

Excelent music! I listen it daily in the southern hemisphere, at the opposite side of the Pacific coast.

Thank you very, very much, KABL, for your wonderful, beautiful and TRULY relaxing music from the golden era, that is, from the late '20s up to the '60s. My wife and I listen from the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. KABL is by far the best station we have EVER listened to. Sadly, stations of the calibre of KABL are not available in Australia. America had the best song writers, singers, actors, actresses, bands and music in the world, during the golden era.The historical segments of San Francisco (and other places) are also greatly appreciated. We'd love to also hear something about San Francisco's streetcars (or trams, as we call them over here). Like the cable cars, they are brilliant, but under-rated, and San Francisco is so fortunate to still have them. KABL, keep that music coming!!! Shawn.

I just left a comment on the other page, but wanted to give ya'll a 5 Star review. The big band and great singers of the golden era of music are second to none, top of the list. So glad to hear it still being played and enjoyed by others! Dorothy

I may own and live on a farm outside of Medellin, Colombia, but my heart is still in San Francisco where my great grandfather built homes after the 1906 earthquake. I remember KABL in the 60s with soft music playing on our way home from my grandparents in Milbrae, down skyline boulevard before the 280 was completed, and down 19th, all listening to KABL. I think of KABL, the golden gate bridge, and the City as the culture of San Francisco for me. Keep paying great tunes.
