Hands down the mightiest radio station in the US. Lots of excellent original programming. And all the PBS favorites as well. The announcers are fantastic and you can tell they enjoy where they work. Many different music genre programs too. Also introductions to podcasts from all over. Finally, the intelligence of the hosts on call-in programs is astounding! (check out "Your Call" with host Rose Aguilar 10 a.m. Pacific) Can't say enough good things about KALW. the little station that can and does and will. My "hear-way" to the world.
